Custom Furniture

This piece was built from reclaimed white oak from a hand-hewn building in the mid-west – this wood was at least 100 years old. This is the epitome of a piece that is heirloom-quality, old world craftsmanship and highly functional.
Artistic-minded client with a sentimental attachment to this baby grand - she had learned to play the instrument as a small child. She had no desire to part with the piano after its sound board went out and seeking a unique means of incorporating the treasured family instrument into her home while re-purposing and making it functional as a bookshelf.
This creative piece was built from reclaimed chestnut – this is an extinct species available only as reclaimed wood. This was designed to showcase a 2,000 year old piece of petrified wood at least 6’ tall. A functional showstopper!

This piece was crafted from reclaimed fir with white oak butterflies. This is a nod to old world joinery when the “butterflies” were used to save a family heirloom from cracking and falling apart.
This table was built of reclaimed white oak from a hand-hewn building in the mid-west – this wood was at least 100 years old. We were using very old reclaimed wood and trying to create something that look as though it had been made 100 years ago. The top is “book-matched.” We added hand-cut cabriole legs to give it a twist.
Mixture of reclaimed oak and maple; a creative spin on the classic butcher block.
Adirondack style chair made of teak – a very traditional and practical design that never goes out of style.
This bookshelf is made from reclaimed fir with flat-rolled tin panels that resemble old, weathered leather. We donated this piece to a local animal charity as a silent auction item to help them fundraise for their organization.
